Robert A. Langridge
Bob and Mary worked together at Eagle Signal Co., in Davenport, Iowa. Mary has many fond memories, laughs and fun times working with Bob, Tom and Ellis. Mary left the company before Bob and lost track of him during his years of working in the Kansas area. Roger used to call on Eagle Signal and did publishing work at Rockwell Collins for Bob and Tom. Tom is now living in Austin, Texas area and was to be in the Cedar Rapids area this coming week and we were all looking forward to getting together. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
To the family of Bob Langridge, I send sincere condolences. I knew Bob only for a few short years as a fellow volunteer with RCRV. Bob did good work, and was particularly good at coming up with simple solutions to difficult problems. He was always willing to take on another volunteer project. He inspired many others, including myself. We will miss him. Jack Murphy
Dear Mike and Sandy, I was sorry to hear of your father's death. No matter how old, or how ill, or how ready to go, a parent is part of us, and it is like tearing something away from us when they die. George's parents have both died, but I still have that part of life waiting for me. Dad will be 88 and Mom 81, so my turn is coming. Elaine Poduska Boes just lost her dad last week. I believe your dad was on the school board with Milton. I know you have many wonderful memories to cherish. Our deepest sympathy. George and Joanne
