Ronald Louis Balichek, 85, of Oxford Junction, Iowa passed away Friday, September 25, 2026. A private burial with family and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Ron was born January 3, 1941, in Anamosa, Iowa to Louie and Ruth (Engelbart) Balichek. He married Barbara Skinner in 1960. He was a hardworking farmer who devoted his entire life to caring for the land and providing for the family he loved so deeply. His dedication, strength, and tireless work shaped the lives of those around him. His legacy will live on in the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the example he set.
Ron is survived by his children Lynn (Rita) Balichek, and Dan Balichek; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, parents Louie and Ruth, and his sisters Carol Balichek and Donna Hall.
