Kathryn A. “Katie” Wygle, 66, passed away on October 17, 2026, in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Katie was a devoted animal lover with a big heart. Despite facing many challenges throughout her life, she never stopped caring for others and always had love to give. She enjoyed joking around, sharing a laugh, and bringing her unique personality to every room she entered.
A proud Minnesota Vikings fan, Katie found great joy and companionship in her beloved dogs, Radar, Joker, and Kuma, who preceded her in death. Throughout the years, they provided her with comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love.
Katie is survived by her daughter, Shirley Marie, and son-in-law, LaRico Harmon, along with her cherished grandchildren, Malachi, Matayo, Alyraa, and Akirii Harmon.
She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her deep love for animals, and the memories she leaves behind with those who knew and loved her.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation arrangements were entrusted to Iowa Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Katie's honor to the American Cancer Society or to a hospice organization of the donor's choice, supporting those facing cancer and families receiving compassionate end-of-life care.
May Katie finally find the peace she deserves, reunited with her beloved Radar, Joker, and Kuma.
