Wauthena dedicated 35 years of her life to working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Lantern Park Care Center. She truly loved the residents and the people she worked with, giving her time, compassion, love, and care to those she looked after. Caring for others was an important part of her life, and she touched many lives throughout her years of service.

Outside of work, Wauthena enjoyed life's simple pleasures. One of her favorite pastimes was going to garage sales, always on the lookout for a good find. She loved reading Danielle Steel novels and enjoyed collecting things throughout the years, including Beanie Babies. These hobbies brought her happiness and created many memories her family will cherish.

Wauthena is survived by her children, Kevin (Beth) Noe of West Branch, Iowa, Kimberly Noe of Davenport, Iowa, and Keith Noe of Newton, Iowa. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Britanny Lewis, Brandon Wendt, Troy Tracy, Jake Noe, Kelsie Noe, Travis Noe, and Shelby Noe; four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Lewis, Aria Wendt, Liliana Wendt, and Luella Noe; her brother, Don Butcher; and her sister, Mary Zaye Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Noe; her son, Jerry Lee Noe Jr.; her parents, Kleeman Juneau Thews and Hazel Marie Brown; her brother, Duwayne Butcher; and her sister, Gail Butcher.

Wauthena's life was filled with many chapters, memories, challenges, and moments that will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her family will carry those memories with them and cherish the time they shared.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind.

Fly high, sweet Mama. May you finally find the peace and comfort you deserve.
