Mark John Pohlmann
Mark John Pohlmann passed away on March 6th, 2026, at Grundy Center Hospital. There will be a celebration of life at Scott's Saloon on Main Street in Grundy Center from 3:00 PM until close on Saturday March 14th.
Mark was born on the 8th of November 1959 in Vinton, Iowa. Mark worked many years as an assistant manager at Family Foods and lastly at Richlieu dressing factory. He lived in Vinton, Iowa, before moving to Grundy Center, Iowa, about 20 years ago.
Mark enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his daughter. Mark was a very loving and kind person and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha Pohlmann, of Vinton, Iowa, and his brother, Mike Pohlmann, of Garrison, Iowa.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Morgan Pohlmann; his brothers, Edward and Steven (Sandy) Pohlmann; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made out to Marte Pohlmann. The memorials will be collected for Mark’s daughter, Morgan.
