Madeline Flake, 89, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away March 26, 2026.
Madeline was born on January 26, 1937, in Holly Grove Arkansas to Ellis and Dessie Rogers. Her siblings include Doris Creuis of Biloxi, Mississippi, Lois Norwood of Muscatine, Peggy Stokes of Muscatine, John Rogers of Wichita, Kansas and Thomas Rogers of Muscatine.
Madeline is survived by her son, Richard Flake of Muscatine; grandchildren, Tennelle Flake of Houston, Texas, Tyson Goddard of Muscatine, Kylie Campbell of Houston, and Benjamin Flake of Marion, Ohio; five great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Campbell and her parents.
Madeline finished nursing school at St. Luke’s Hospital in Davenport, Iowa. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Muscatine General Hospital and for Dr. William Catalona in Muscatine for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and decorating.
