Mark Asa Phillips
Mark Asa Phillips, 64, of Brandon, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026 surrounded by those who loved him after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose quiet strength, work ethic, and love for his family shaped the lives of everyone who knew him. He believed in showing up, working hard, and taking care of the people he loved.
Throughout his life, he found joy in the simple things—riding his bike, time spent with family, sharing stories around the campfire, and watching his granddaughters grow.
He leaves behind a Son; Bill (Dawn) Phillips of Rowley and two granddaughters Ellie and Leah Phillips. One brother Melvin Phillips, Urbana and a sister Evalina Sieck, of Center Point.
He was preceded in Death by his parents Donald and Bessie (Boyles) Phillips, three sisters; Peggy Munsell, Barbara Rick, and Rosemary Primus; one brother Billy Phillips.
Though his presence will be deeply missed, the love he gave and the example he set will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
