John not only enjoyed his job as a Foreman but loved playing pranks on others at work.
John enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, the Green Bay Packers, traveling to other states, eating catfish, and spending time with family and friends. Although he loved these hobbies, his favorite was calling everyone on the phone from his children, grandchildren, other family members, and friends.
He is survived by his son Rick (Susan) Libke of Lansing, Lorie Gage of Lansing, Marie (Steve) Christianson of Decorah, IA, sister Jeannette Wright of Onalaska, WI, and 8 grandchildren: April (Brian) McQuade, Craig (Natasha) Libke, Ethan Libke, Mason (Breanna) Libke, Veronica (Mitch) Halverson, Ross (Allison) Christianson, Kirsten (David) Burrett, Avery (Jay) Limpoco, and 12 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Evelyn Libke, a brother-in-law, Jim Wright, and a grandson, Ricky Libke.
