Belva Jean Kreinbring

Belva Jean Kreinbring, 75, of Lowden, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by the love of her family.  Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of Belva's life will be held at a later date.

Belva was born on December 23, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Lawrence "Kayo" Kreinbring and Velma "Toots" (Schlueter) Kreinbring.

Belva dedicated more than 25 years of her career to Cedar Manor in Tipton, Iowa, where she worked in housekeeping until her retirement.

Belva had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially cherished time spent on or beside a river with a cold beer in hand. She had a genuine love for animals and was well known for caring for stray cats in her neighborhood. Her compassion extended to both people and animals, and she will be remembered for her kind heart and generous spirit.

Those left to cherish Belva's memory include her daughter, Sheila (Tim) Kahl of Lowden, Iowa; brothers, Brent (Deb) Kreinbring of Lowden, Iowa, and Bevan (Maureen) Kreinbring of Clinton, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Arrington (Max) Hammond of Deforest, Wisconsin, Brody Colvin of Clarence, Iowa, and Ava Wenndt of Lowden, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Adeline and Vanna Hammond, and Penelope Colvin; nephew, Kip (Sandy) Esbaum of Lowden, Iowa; nieces, Tatum Kreinbring of Clinton, Wisconsin, Jill Kreinbring of Waring, Texas, and Tia Wilson of Kirkwood, Missouri; and her special cat, Gus.

Belva was preceded in death by her daughter, Trisha Miller; her parents, Lawrence "Kayo" and Velma "Toots" Kreinbring; her brother, Blaine Kreinbring; her sister, Brenda Esbaum; and her niece, Kerri Havel.
