Amy Marie Burg, 48, of Cedar Rapids, passed away June 11, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Amy was born on July 27, 1977, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Gordon and Judie (Parsons) Russell Jr. On May 30, 1998, she was united in marriage to Jonathan Burg in Cedar Rapids, IA. Amy worked as an administrative assistant at DW Products. She enjoyed Stargazer Lilies. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Jonathan of Cedar Rapids; children, Corbin (Lexi) Burg of Anamosa, Koda (Sequoya Hilliker) Burg of Belle Plaine, and Alexandria (Cody) Norden of Hollow Rock, TN; grandchildren, William “Colt” Norden of Hollow Rock, TN and Zavier Burg of Belle Plaine, IA; parents; Judie and Gordon Russell Jr. of Oxford; brothers, Tyler Russell of Oxford and Gordon Russell III of Iowa City; and parents-in-law, Wendy and Bill Voss of Fairfax.
She’ll be missed by everyone that knew her.
