Michael was born on February 17, 1939, in Tracy, Minnesota, to Oscar and Georgina (Opheim) Anderson. He worked in management at Winnebago Industries in Forest City, Iowa, for more than 30 years. He proudly served in the US Army for three years and three months, serving as a Military Policeman. He served on the City Council and Church Council and was active in many hobby-related groups. Michael enjoyed golf, hunting, cars, military history, and planes, and he was deeply patriotic. He loved spending time with his family and was loved by all.
Michael is survived by his wife, Judith Anderson; his sister, Colette; two sons, Mike and Tom; their spouses Julie and Mary, and five grandchildren, Emily, Sam, Rachel, Ben, and Nick.
He is preceded in death by his parents:
