Leah Ann Carson, 47, of Burlington, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2026, in Burlington. She was born on June 8, 1979, in Burlington, Iowa.
Leah was a bright, bubbly, and energetic soul whose smile and laughter could light up any room. She had an incredible singing voice and brought joy to those around her with her kind heart and vibrant personality. She had a special love for collecting retro games, toys, and movies, and she adored everything Winnie the Pooh. Her passions reflected her fun-loving spirit and appreciation for the simple things that brought happiness.
Above all else, Leah treasured her family. She especially loved spending time with her beloved grandsons, Hudson and Haidyn, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. The memories they shared together will be cherished forever.
Leah was preceded in death by her father, David Miller; her grandparents, Carl and Pauline Miller and Raymond and Virginia Criner; and her uncle, Richard Miller.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Miller; her siblings, Jennifer Senft (Lyssa Senft) and Matthew Miller (Kim Miller); her niece, Jenna Miller; her nephews, Justin Miller and Jacob Miller; her daughter, Paige Carson (Jaylen Holt); her grandsons, Hudson Holt and Haidyn Holt; and her loving partner, Gabriel Clark.
Leah will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, laughter, beautiful voice, and caring spirit will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
There will be a private burial for her immediate family, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Though her time with us was far too short, Leah's memory will live on through the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the countless cherished moments that will never be forgotten.
