Linda Glazier

Linda Glazier, 85, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 30, 2026. A celebration of life for Linda Glazier will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 AM at Church of the King, located at 3750 F Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids Iowa.  There will be a dinner to follow.

Linda was born in Estherville Iowa and was the daughter of Gerald and Emma Richards.  Linda faithfully served in the ministry along with her husband and best friend, Pastor Donald Glazier, over sixty years, serving several Methodist churches within Iowa and Church of the King in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She spent forty years faithfully and lovingly ministering to the prisoners at the Anamosa state prison. She also traveled to the Philippines, Central America, Jamaica, and churches within the United States to preach the Gospel impacting many lives.

Her greatest accomplishment was her family as well as her spiritual family.  The well-being of the church family was very important to her.  She loved traveling and cruising as well as reading.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Glazier, Marilyn (Jeff) Peters, Marcia Glazier, Chris (Greg) Slama, and Mark Glazier; along with ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  Linda was preceded in death by John Glazier.
