Howard Reid Shapcott
So sorry to hear of my good friend and Law Enforcement Officer passing. He was one of the best , Those that knew him will know what I mean.He was always there to lend a helping hand. Rest in Peace
Sorry for your loss he was a very kind man
Dear Shapcott Family, I met Howard several times and would not describe him as a grumpy guy. Hard work and family dedication are parts of his loving legacy. My condolences.
Dear Laurie and family, siblings, and extended family, What a beautiful obituary. Howard lived such a life of service. For all of the years I knew Howard, I learned through the obituary about his work at an early age to help support his mother and family, as well as his time in the air force. What a giving and loving man he was. Through him, are lessons to be learned about duty and care to one's faith, family, and country. I have fond memories of Howard. He and Pauline were always so welcoming to me. My parents were very fond of them, and kept them in high regard. God bless you all.
Howard was always a big part of my life, in a way father like. He and I and his friend Harry Braafart joked their theme song was “Oh Lord it’s Hard to be Humble” by Mac Davis. We will miss him!
Many hugs and Blessings go out to your family at this time. Brian may God Bless you through this difficult time and your family as well.
Our condolences to the family. Your father was a great man of faith, compassion, and character. I remember him well for his belief in family, both duty and pride. He was a great example as a family man and took good care of his family, no matter the challenges. I will miss him, but admire his life and dedication. God's blessings for you all in your time of loss.
Brian & Mary Beth, my most sincere condolences to you and your family with the loss of Howard. I enjoyed working with him, although at different work locations, we talked often over the phone. And when we would see each other in person, was always special. His smile lit up the room when he walked in it. I didn’t see him as a grumpy old man… he was genuine! Sincerely, Di Neal
Laurie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing. Robert -Regina 78
