Norma Marie (Cope) Wolf

Norma Marie (Cope) Wolf, 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, April 1, 2026, in Allen, Texas, where she lived near her daughter, Nancy.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at Newcomb Presbyterian Church on Friday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Norma will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Robert Wolf, at Rock Island Arsenal.

Norma was born on January 4, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Samuel Jackson Cope and Gladys Cram Cope. She married Robert (Bob) Wolf in August 1949 in Davenport, Iowa, and they shared 70 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in September 2019.

She graduated from Davenport High School in 1947 and went on to attend the University of Iowa. Norma later worked as an administrative assistant for the Davenport Community School District from 1978 to 1989.

Norma is lovingly remembered by her five children: Craig (Susan), Scott (Jeanne), David (Ann), Ann Todd, and Nancy (Jon) Spaans; her 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and her niece, Susan Reed.

She was a devoted lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Norma was an accomplished seamstress, quilter, cook, and baker, and she generously volunteered in many roles at Newcomb Presbyterian Church, where she was a faithful member for 70 years.

Memorials may be made to Newcomb Presbyterian Church in Davenport, Iowa.
