Our beloved Mom passed away October 7, 2025, with family at her side at Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa after a courageous 5 year cancer journey. She will always be remembered for her kindness, independence and heart of gold.
Sidney Kay King was born May 19, 1939, in La Harpe, Illinois to George Sydney King and Evelyn Carnes King. Sidney raised 4 daughters, Lani (Allen) Gray, Leslie (Ronald) Pezley, Leah Storms, and Lori Vincent. " Gram" enjoyed 8 grandchildren: Lauren, Patrick, Bryan, Taylor, Charles, Nichole, Michelle, Brett and 10 great-grandchildren: Mark, Jack, Faye, Hannah, Claire, Jackson, Connor, Owen, Kennedy, and Everly (passed away). Her siblings are Ron (Kay), Chuck (passed away) and Bob (Rita).
Cremation provided to honor Mom's wishes.
