Juliann Amelia Johnson passed away on November 09, 2025, in Waterloo. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 Friday, November 21, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church, Waterloo, Iowa. Interment will be private.
She was born on March 23, 1937, in Waterloo, IA to Harm “Red” and Anna (Puhl) Johnson. Juliann worked as a senior companion for Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Juliann loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to Carolyn & LeRoy’s farm for holiday and birthday celebrations, always bringing a dish to share with the meal. Juliann loved seeing the children and often brought a little something for them to play with. She was quite aware of current events and loved sharing news items and the ways of the world with LeRoy. She often reminisced about her childhood and the fun times she and all her cousins had when going to their grandparent’s home. Those were very special memories for her! She was a gentle and caring person and will be dearly missed.
Juliann is survived by her cousins, Carolyn (LeRoy) Gray, Lloyd (Jeanine) Johnson, Gwen (Larry) Clark, Leon (Terri) Borcherding and nephew Mike Wenthe.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother Larry and wife Faye, sister Carol Jean and husband Lenard, and cousin, Marlys Dierks.
