That beautiful lady will forever live in my heart. I've been so blessed to have gotten to spend the past few years with the two of you. I'll miss our chats. Please call if you need anything, we are still here for you Steve. Thank you for sharing her beautiful story. Peggy RN

I’m deeply saddened to hear of Joanie’s passing. I just found out. She was my childhood friend all thru elementary school. She lived around the block from me and on some nights we would use flashlites to signal each other thru our windows which faced each other across our backyards. I have many fond memories of her family. They use to put on plays in their garage. We used to play house in there by raking up leaves into it to create boundaries. We played bakery out front with the leaves in her yard. We played across the street on what seemed like a giant hill. We would walk to the shopping center where there was a Kresge’s and have cherry cokes. I could go on and on. We later connected somehow as adults and sent Christmas cards to one another. I lived in Florida at the time with my husband and hoped we could connect one day. And then writing stopped and I just figured perhaps she moved. My heart goes out to Steve and her entire family. I’ll cherish her memory forever . Love, Grace Campanello Fasolino from Pontiac Mi and now residing in Pittsboro NC

"Iowa Cremation gave me extraordinary support when my husband passed away. Everything was handled with compassion and respect, and for that I am forever grateful."
