At the home they shared, Rex enjoyed raising chickens, sheep, dogs, llamas and a variety of other exotic animals. When Rex wasn’t at home with his wife and children. Rex was employed for Manetts and Carter out of Brooklyn, Iowa and then for Peterson Construction for quite a few years in Des Moines, where he worked as an operator. Rex enjoyed his free time at dog races, auctions, flea markets, and enjoying a cold beer with friends and family.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents: Rex and Doris (Hayes) Clark, Brothers: Richard, Larry (Shorty), and Gary Clark and Daughter-in-law: Lana Clark.

Rex is survived by wife: Mary Clark, Sons: Scott Clark and Brian Clark. Six grandchildren: Chase (Abby) Clark, Chet Clark, Mavrick (Tianna) Clark, Casey Clark, Megan Clark, Matt (Brooklyn) Clark, two great grandchildren: Kayde and Rhett, siblings: Danny (Judy) Clark and Kitty Whicker, and several nieces and nephews.
