Leland Arthur Thompson

Dear Dad, I can't put into words how much I will miss seeing you every day. I cherished the simple moments-your good mornings, good nights, and the times we shared meeting for Panera Bread or at my house on a daily bases. Those moments meant the world to me, and they will always hold a special place in my heart. You were my biggest inspiration, Dad. Someone I truly looked up to-tenacious, hardworking, and steadfast in your morals and ethics. Your drive for living a long, healthy life was remarkable. I am in awe of how you walked 2 to 4 miles almost every day, right up until you were 91 years old. Your dedication to staying active and living fully was an incredible example to all of us. Deeply, I will miss you more than I can say. Thank you for being such an amazing father and role model. Your strength, resilience, and spirit will forever live in my heat. You have left a lasting legacy, and I am so grateful for everything you've taught me. With all my Love, Connie Thompson Mangler

Our whole family is very very sorry hearing of Leland's passing. Through the years both of our families, I think & (believe) were very close even though we often lose touch with each other; again, through the years. Our love, thoughts, prayers & condolances go out to all the family members & friends of Lee's family. Sincerely, Jim & Mary Clary
