Shirley Tatro, 89, died of dementia, and natural causes on January 20, 2025, at her home in Monticello, Iowa. She was born March 1, 1935, to William and Ora Kidder.
She is survived by her children Jacklyn (Don) Lane and their five children and 17 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren, Shelley Tatro and her two children and six great-grandchildren, Anita (Mark) Nost and their four children and 15 great-grandchildren and Theresa Tatro's family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, her husband, Ed and their son, Eddie; her long-time best friend Evelyn and the many friends that have passed before her.
She will always be remembered and loved by everyone. No services are planned.
