Gerald Harvey Grishaber, 91, of Marion, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, in Lisbon.
Jerry Grishaber was born on September 9, 1933, in Iowa. He graduated from Center Point High School in 1951 and was united in marriage to Charlotte Haars on May 15, 1953. He immediately entered the army and served in Korea. Jerry met and made many lifelong friends during his career in electronic sales. Jerry and Charlotte were instrumental in the founding of the Iowa Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City. He was passionate about family, friends, traveling, Chicago Cubs, old cars and tractors.
Gerald is survived by; his daughters, Judy Grishaber and Valerie (Michael) Smith; beloved grandson, Jordan Smith.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, daughter, Kelly Grishaber, parents, and brother, Robert Grishaber.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jerry’s honor to a charity of your choosing.
