Allen Wayne Foster

Allen Wayne Foster, 77, of Oakville, IA, was born in Muscatine, IA to Charles and Vivian (Beeding) Foster. Allen sadly left this world Friday evening, February 28th, 2025, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Allen was very much loved and respected by everyone that knew him. He loved to sit around and visit with family and friends.

He was known for his parties (hog roasts, fish fries).  Allen enjoyed helping Jordy with his excavating business.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and having a few cold ones. He was often told that he was “quite” the ladies’ man!

Allen is survived by his four children, Kenny (Kim) Seitz of New Boston, IL , Paula (Carl) Johnson of St. James, Missouri, Tammy Foster, and Jessica (Marvin) Brockert of Wapello; 15 grandchildren: Wade Wolff, Dakota Wolff, Kurtis Scoggin, Billy Scoggin, Amanda Adkisson, Crystal Timmerman, Cody Laucamp, Nolan Swafford, Sierra Augenbaugh, Emory Graves, Wyatt Umlandt, Daniel Beeding, Kris Seitz, Stephanie McAllister, and Kourtney Seitz: 21 great-grandchildren; siblings: Phyllis (Dan) Kauffman, Dorothy Morrow, Sally Malcom, Ethel Foster, Edith (Marlin) Spitznogle, and Ina Foster all of Wapello IA;  and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vivian Foster; great-granddaughter, Kiara Seitz; siblings, Roger Foster, Mary (Foster) Robertson, Kenny Foster, Ross Foster, and Audrey (Foster) Sirovy.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
