Richard Lee Kummer, 81, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024 in San Marcos, CA.  Rich was born in South Amana, IA in 1943, to George & Florence (Webert) Kummer.

Rich is survived by his wife Susan Stone Kummer, son Steve & wife Tricia Kummer and a daughter Kristine Kummer. One brother Don and wife Sylvia Kummer, and his sister Barbara & husband Steve Large.  Rich had three grandchildren, Trisha, Michael & Jasminn. Rich enjoyed many friendships throughout his life. He loved his travel to many countries, but Maui was his paradise. He had a great love of golf with his buddies; however the ‘Hole-In-One’ was always going to be the next time. He was a life-long avid IOWA HAWKEYE fan since childhood.

Rich & Sus retired to San Marcos, CA in 2009.
