Kathryn A. Werning, Age 63, of Cedar Rapids, IA, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathryn was born on June 28, 1960, the daughter of Patricia (Tate) Werning and the late Merlin Werning. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her dog, Molly. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Those left to cherish Kathryn’s memory are her children, Michael (Megan) Landuyt, of Sobieski, WI, Michelle (Fabian) Landuyt-Reyes, of Clermont, FL, and Megan (Rodney) Bruner, of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Alexis, Abby, Braden, Bryce, Kaylie, Bensen, and Roman; her mother, Patricia Werning, of Cedar Rapids, IA; her siblings, David (Ginny) Werning of FL, Sharon (Kevin) Doyle, of FL, Darwin Werning, of Midway, IA; and her adored dog, Molly. She was preceded in death by her father, Merlin Werning.
