Anna Lea Coonrod, 76, of Marion passed away, Friday, July 26, 2024. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Anna was born on December 14, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Hugh William Sr. and Agnes Mae (Dostal) Scriven. She was a homemaker and had also worked as a painter. Anna had a kind soul and always thought of others first. She was a hard worker and will be remembered for her sense of humor. Anna was an animal lover, in particular cats and horses. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. Most of all, she treasured her family, especially her grandchildren.
Anna is survived by son Adam (Dawn) Ward of Marion and children Austin, Sydney, Parker, and Colton; daughter, Tammy (Chet) Leif of Oxford Junction and children Jaylon, Emma, Rylan, and Chet’s daughter Sierra; daughter Teri Anne (Dean) Billick of Ely and children Nicole, Jameson, and Shannon; son Jeff (Cindy) Amspoker of Manson; and son Brian (Shelby) Amspoker of Cottage Grove, MN. She is also survived by her brother Jon (Rose) Scriven of Parkersburg and sister Susan Scriven of Cedar Rapids.
Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter Lori Amspoker in infancy; and brothers Lonnie Scriven, Roger Scriven, Hugh “Billy” Scriven Jr.
