Obituary for Warren Wise

Warren Wise, 88, formerly of Decorah, passed away peacefully in his home on December 31, 2024. On August 4, 1956, he married the love of his life, Shirley Ruroden at The Little Brown Church. Warren enjoyed taking his gas engines to shows. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley; son, Wesley; granddaughter, Katie (Tom); and great grandchildren, Sam and Claire. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Eleanor, Katherine, Pat, and son, Wayne Wise. Per Warren’s wishes, he was cremated and will be buried at Big Canoe Ridge, Decorah. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
