Chester Jerry Bearden

Where to start with the memories of Chester? He was instrumental in my faith journey, having him as a teacher and sponsor at Saint Paul Lutheran. The grandfather clock that now stands in my living room that I got from my parents was expertly worked on by Chester in their home in Tama many times. I still have a receipt in the bottom of the clock with Chester‘s Handwriting on it. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of all of the many lives he touched and through his beautiful children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren! Heaven has gained a good one. Praising God for the gift of eternal life. We grieve, with Hope. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Chester and I worked together at the Casino, oh so many years ago. Chester was a great guy to work with and be around he was a real asset. You always knew where you stood with him and how he felt about something, all you had to do was ask him, he was never at a loss for words!I remember him working on Grandfather clocks and his sense of humor. Rest In Peace my friend you life was well lived!
