Adam Nathaniel Walters, 46 of Des Moines passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024. He was born January 22, 1978, in Dayton, Ohio.
He graduated from Wayne High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1996. He held several retail jobs enjoying his work at garden nurseries. He was a lover of all things Christmas. A creative master Lego builder. His hobbies included baking, making crafts, and listening to music.
In his death, he chose to donate life. His kidneys were donated to two recipients giving them a second chance at life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don and his grandparents; Donald Walters, Mary Alice (Frazier) Walters, Rita (Drake) Steppe and Edward Steppe.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda (Steppe), brothers; Tim of Urbandale and Joe (Becky) of Urbandale; 3 nephews Michael, Jacob and Stephen of Urbandale, aunt Sue Walters of Dayton, OH, uncle Dennis (Linda) Walters of Dayton, OH and aunt Sandy (Ed) Gilbert of Port St. Richey, FL and cousins.
