Aline Rosalie Crispen

Aline Rosalie Crispen, 91, of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, September 26th at the Oskaloosa Care Center in Oskaloosa.

She was born July 19th, 1932, in Tracy, Iowa. The daughter of John and Elvira (Thompson) Angelo. She was united in marriage to Edward Crispen on December 13th, 1947. Edward died on September 26, 2002.

Aline worked as a home maker for her husband and five children and was also employed with Pella Roll Screen, now Pella Corporation. She enjoyed planting and caring for a large garden.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Swim of Olivet, and Katherine Vande Wall of Oskaloosa; a son John (Barb) Crispen of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; Bobbi (Jewel) Burdock, Shari Guthrie, Lori (Dave) Henderson, Joseph (Misty) Vande Wall, Angela Vande Wall, Luke (Chanda) Vande Wall, Jeff (Holly) Swim, Jennifer Swim, Mathew (Shalee) Crispen, Sarah Crispen, and 14 great-grandchildren; siblings; Paul Angelo and Louise (Jerry) McKinney.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; two daughters, Beverly Yahnke and Linda (Chuck) Ross; a grandchild, David Donaldson, her parents; siblings Doris Furnald and Wilma Geery.
