Lori A. Hutchinson, 59, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
Lori was born on June 5, 1964 to Dale Buck and Jean Gossman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Richard Hutchinson, Jr. on October 10, 1992 at Fountain Springs Park. Lori enjoyed going to animal swaps and raising her White Call ducks for selling, riding horses on trail rides, trapping and hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Richard; her children, Derek (Chelsey) of Hazelton; Valerie (Derek) of Earlville; Angel (Matt) of Edgewood; 6 grandchildren, Madelyn, Oakley, Hayzen, Penelope, Gunner, and Waylon, and 2 bonus grandchildren, Kaiden and Cale. Lori’s parents, Dale Buck of Cedar Rapids and Jean (Lawrence) Sweet of Central City; her sister, Gail (Steve) Morarie of Central City, Iowa; 3 half-siblings; and 3 step siblings; her mother-in-law, Georgia Hutchinson of Greeley, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandchild, Remington; father-in-law, Richard Hutchinson, Sr.; her uncle, Mark Gossman and other relatives.
