Lillie L. Shafranek, 78, of Marengo, passed away on November 1, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Lillie was born November 6, 1944, in Muscatine, IA to Alonzo and Ester (Higgenson) Landon. After graduating high school, she began her career as a housekeeper. In 1966 she was united in marriage to Rex Shafranek. Their union was blessed with three children, Edward, Bonnie and Connie.
Those left to cherish Lillie’s memory are her children Edward Shafranek of South English, IA and Connie (Warren) Reyerson of St. Louis Park, MN
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Ester; husband Rex; and daughter Bonnie.
