Jananne “Jan” Baldridge
Jananne “Jan” Baldridge, 83, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Hallmar Care Center.
Jan is survived by sister-in-law, Mary Anne Baldridge; nephew Sean Greenwalt, and nieces Shanan Reed and Renee Heller; great nieces, Emma Greenwalt, Peyton Reed, Paige Reed and Katelyn Heller; great nephews Zach Greenwalt, Parker Reed, Brady Heller, and Ryan Heller. Jan was a devoted sister and aunt and could often be found cheering on her nieces and nephews at their activities-everyone knew and loved “Aunt Jan”.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, James and Katherine Baldridge, a brother, Terrence Baldridge, a sister, Jerilyn Greenwalt and brother-in-law, Thomas Greenwalt.
She was born February 12, 1940, in Strawberry Point, IA the daughter of James and Katherine (Vanek) Baldridge. Jan graduated from St. Patrick’s High School and Mount Mercy College. She worked for Grant Wood AEA, retiring in 2004. Jan was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.
At Jan’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
