Carol Joan Johnson

We, in the Sub Saharan Africa, and in particular, Kilimanjaro, in the United Republic of Tanzania, are saddened by the departure of our Sister in the LORD, Carol Joan Johnson. Carol was in the same pilgrimage with us on the Christian Path started by Jesus Christ himself at Calvary. We are so happy she maintained the stance and demonstrated it by the great love and smiles that reflected her inner values so clearly. She was truly the salt of the earth and light of the world. Matthew 5:13-16. Africa will certanly miss you deeply, Carol, until we are reunited when Jesus arrives. Thank you for the seed that you plantd to all African students who studied at Iowa University and were assigned to your care as their foster parent. God Rest your soul in eternal peace. Amen. Isaya 43:1-7

I would like to pass my condolences to the family of Carol Johnson. She was a wonderful person. She adopted me as her international student and was there for me. It was so sad to see that she has passed. I will always remember you Carol!
