Obituary for Mary J. “Jay” Turnbull

Jay was truly one of life’s great people. My mother (Lou Davidson) were friends since Sunday school as pre-schoolers. They grew up together and stayed friends all their lives. My parents and Jay and Bucky stayed friends all through their lives. Mom was concerned when it had been such a long time since she had heard from her. Mom sends her deepest sympathies. I remember Jay’s open friendly manner. She always made me feel like a friend more than a bratty kid of one of her friends. She was a joy to be around.
