Obituary for Jason Friedrich Frank

Jason Friedrich Frank passed away on July 10, 2023, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center. Jason was born on March 25, 1971, to John and Nadine Frank. He had one sister, Cinnamon (Rex) Zaiser. He married Vicki Gerling on November 16, 1991. They had three children Ashlyn (Jordan) Schoonover, Justin (Aimee) Frank, and Jaren Frank. They enjoyed four, soon to be five, grandchildren, Mya Schoonover, Millie Schoonover, Cason Bock, Quinn Bock, and Baby Frank due in September. Jason’s children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his father, John Frank, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. 

Jason had many different jobs over his lifetime, but his current job was for Gabeline Excavating and Farming. He loved what he did and was good at almost anything he put his mind to. He loved to drink beer and he never knew a stranger. He was a one-of-a-kind man, and he will be deeply missed by us all. 

A celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 14 beginning at 5:30 p.m., at The Filling Station, 20478 Eastern Ave., Yarmouth, Iowa.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
