Diane Marie Oberholser, 53, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 7th, 2023. There will be no services. The family will be having a celebration of life, Saturday, July 29th, 2023, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the family’s residence (208 East South Street, Mechanicsville, Iowa, 52306.) Arrangements are with Iowa Cremation.
Diane was born on December 15th, 1969, in Chicago, IL. The daughter of Charley Frank Beringer, and Janice Beringer. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Diane began a career as an RN for 30 years. Her passion in life was being there for her residents. She spent her free time with family whom she loved dearly, and camping with her husband. She loved reading, crocheting, and spending time with her cats at home.
She leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Dan Oberholser; children, Ashley Oberholser, Alyssa Techau (Jacob), Bethany Oberholser, Holly Jenson (Michael), Jay Oberholser (Myia); grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Kamdan, Amara, and Marlow; grand puppies, Lily and Puddin; sister, Lisa Staker (Justin) & family; brother, Troy Beringer; mother, Janice Holdiman; step-father, Jerry Holdiman, and many other friends & family.
She was preceded in death by her father.
