David (Dave) A. Keeling
David “Dave” A. Keeling, 72, of Belle Plaine, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the Belle Plaine Specialty Care surrounded by his family. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12 from 2 to 4 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
David was born on October 29, 1950 to Robert and Beverly (Shannon) Keeling in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He graduated from North Scott High School in 1970. After graduation, he was drafted and served in the US Navy for 17 years. Dave was united in marriage to Suzanne Mitchell on September 9, 1978 in Nashua, Iowa.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Suzanne; sons, Sean (Sara) Keeling; Scott (Kasey) Keeling; Joel (Annika) Keeling; and Tavis R. Kilian; grandchildren, Callum, Layla, Stella, Luna, Sawyer, and Isla. Also surviving are his sisters, Lynn (Steve) Lampman and Kim (Jerry) Wihlborg, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.
