Carroll E. Miller 82 of Grundy Center passed away July 29, 2023.
Caroll was born on May 31, 1941 to Jim and Betty (Allison) Miller in Parkersburg, Iowa.
He was united in marriage to Sandra (Albright) on August 2nd, 1958.
In his earlier days he worked on the railroad and from there went to work at Western Dressing/Richelieu Foods for 29+ years, retiring in 2001. He also had a sideline of being in the junk business.
He enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings with his son-in-laws; bird watching; reading; and going on his daily snoop patrol route. He also enjoyed his yearly trips to Las Vegas.
He is survived by his five daughters: Deb Van Hauen; Melinda Burns; Michelle (Al) Van Deest; Dawn West; Teresa (Gary) Appel. Brother Frank (Linda) Miller and sister Betty Pabst. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra; parents; brother's Gene, Jim and Bob and sister's Sally Devries and Laverda Nieman
