Lillie Mae Wilson, 67, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on January 10, 2023. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Lillie was born on August 6, 1955, in Leflore County, MS, the daughter of Elbert Wilson and Ether Nix. She worked in customer service in the banking and retail industries. Lillie was a lifelong learner and enjoyed classes and school. In her spare time, she liked visiting thrift shops and riding her bike.
Survivors include her daughter Daniele Wilson of Mesa, AZ, grandson Jontreyvius Richmond, brothers Wilson Dyke (Rhonda) Ross of Pella, Willie (Terry) Ross, Larry Wilson, Jerry Wilson, Mark Wilson Bey, Timothy Wilson all of Waterloo, sisters Gloria (Leo) White of Waterloo and Kimberly Caldwell of St. Joseph, MO, stepfather Theodis Wright, and a special niece Shawna Wilson.
Preceding her in death were her mother, father, and brother Elbert Wilson Jr.
