Kari Jean Kristan, 56, of Cedar Rapids, passed away December 13, 2023, under the care of UnityPoint Hospice. A Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Kari was born on September 8, 1967, in Oceanside, California, the daughter of William J. and Vicki (Eickstaedt) Kristan. Kari worked for Rockwell Collins as an assembler and later worked temp. jobs as an assembler. She loved animals and was very passionate about their well-being. Kari enjoyed being outdoors, being near the water, and going boating. She was a music fan and went to many concerts.
Survivors include her mother Vicki Kristan (Jim Wescott), sister Taryn Davis (Ryan) of Waukesha, WI, nephew Grant Davis, niece Bailey Davis, and uncles Terry and Dale Eickstaedt. Kari is also survived by cousins and close friends.
Preceding her in death was her father in April 2023. and grandparents.
