Nancy Mae Riddick

Nancy Mae Riddick, 82, of Numa, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11th at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville, Iowa.

Nancy was born at home, to Arnold and “Rose” (Rozina Azzaline) Hedberg on April 12th, 1941, in Streepyville, Iowa.  She graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1959.

On November4th, 1960, she married Thomas E. Riddick and they later divorced.  She is survived by their two children, Thomas A. Riddick of Douglasville, Georgia, and Tammy L. Riddick of Fairburn, Georgia.

After working in accounting for over 40 years, Nancy retired in 2004.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing computer games, and anything Gone with the Wind.  And never saw a cookbook she didn’t like. She said she lived a full life and had no regrets.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Overturf; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Riddick.  Nancy requested cremation, no additional services and will be buried at Oakland Cemetery, Centerville, Iowa, next to her parents.

The family would like to thank Golden Age Care Center, Every Step Hospice, and Reaching All People Together (RAPT) for their amazing care.
