JoAnn Green
JoAnn Green of Hiawatha, passed away peacefully in her home on August 3rd. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 14th at 2 PM at Cedar Memorial, with a celebration of life to follow at Tucker Park in Hiawatha at 4 PM.
JoAnn was born in Clinton, Iowa. She led a life devoted to her children, grandchildren...oh so many grandchildren, and of course, her great grandchild. JoAnn enjoyed time on the phone with many friends, but was always found talking to Roxie McDowell, a special friend. JoAnn enjoyed taking care of her many plants, both indoors and out. She was often found on the porch or at the kitchen table with a Busch Light, admiring her handiwork.
JoAnn was survived by daughters Ilana, Nikki, and Sarah, son Luke, and seriously, a fair few grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dorothy Tripp, and sons Benjamin Tripp and Joshua Lathrop. She will be laid to rest with Josh at Cedar Memorial and will continue to watch over all her loved ones. She will be and already is missed greatly.
