Michael Wilke
Michael Wilke, 64 of Wapello Iowa passed away April 30. He spent his last week with family and friends.
Michael graduated from Burlington Community High School with the class of 1976. He went on to Southeastern Community College before settling into the work force. Michael worked in many capacities during his time here. He farmed, was a mechanic, and a maintenance man. Michael seemed to be able to do just about anything.
Michael was very family orientated and cherished the people here and the ones that passed before him.
Michael enjoyed many things and shared them with his family. He shared farming with his daughters, Brandi and Kelly, his passion for art with his daughter, Melissa and motor sports with his son, Seth Wilke.
A Celebration of Life is planned to take place in June.
