Lois Maxine Jones, 72, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away on April 30th, 2023, after a long illness.
Lois was born December 7th, 1951, to Carolyn Hagerman Blair and Merl Blair in Belle Plaine, IA. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School and a proud member of the Blair family. She was known for her love of cats, motorcycles, and her many cherished friends.
She is survived by her loving husband Michael Jones, daughter Michelle (John) Herbst, step-children Matthew (Erin) Wilde, Andrew (Lisa) Kubicek, Emily (Casey) Ford, as well as seven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at the Buffalo United Methodist Church, 1000 30th St. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA, on Saturday May 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to C & W Rustic Hollow Shelter, Nashua, IA.
