William E. Ward, 81, of Dubuque, formerly of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
William was born on April 25, 1941, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Harvey Elmer and Trula Margaret (Hoover) Ward. He attended Delmar High School. William served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was united in marriage to Charlotte D. Hindes on February 16, 1964, in Espanola, NM. William owned and operated a Pest Control Service.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte of Dubuque, children Michael Ward of Cedar Rapids, Angela Schmidt of Dubuque, grandchildren Jessica (Gilbert) Eggers, Jacqueline (Christopher) Johns, Prestin Schmidt and two great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
