John Lawrence Snodgrass, 82, passed from this life on Monday, September 5th, 2022 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
John was a native of Des Moines and a graduate of North High School, Class of 1958. He retired from Firestone Tire and later moved to Weslaco, Texas where he lived until very recently. He will be missed by all of his friends and family.
He is survived by his children Jill (Craig) Pickell, Jodi (Ray) Dyer, Jenni Scott, Juli (Jeff) Temple, and Steve Snodgrass and his spouse Virginia as well as 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his 4 brothers and 1 sister.
As per John’s request no funeral services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Taylor House.
