Judy Elizabeth (Walton) Beckman, 76, of Coralville, IA died Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She was surrounded by her children.
Spring of 2023 a celebration of life will be held. Details will be posted on Facebook. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Judy Beckman Memorial Fund.
Judy was born April 3, 1946, and was raised in Iowa City, Iowa. The daughter of Dorothy “Vickie” Walton and granddaughter of John and Juana Gutierrez.
Judy worked at the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Food Service Coordinator until her retirement in 2015. She returned to Iowa to be with close friends and family.
Judy enjoyed traveling, gambling, and cooking. She loved to dine out and go shopping with her lady friends.
Survivors include her children, David Sass and Jeffrey Sass (Janette), Kristy and Daniel Rude, and Carrie Butterbaugh; grandson, Jorey; granddaughters, Kennedy and Kalynn; great-grandchildren, Braxton, Mason and Sadie Jane Carnes.
