JoAnn Stephenson
JoAnn Stephenson,80, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
There will be a celebration of life announced at a later time.
Surviving family members include her two sons, Tracy Stephenson of Cedar Rapids, IA; Terry (Rachel) Stephenson of Amana, Iowa; three brothers, brothers Tony, David, and Jeff; and Marilyn White, who was a blessing and good friend to JoAnn in her later years in life. She was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Thelma Giannetto.
JoAnn was born July 02, 1942, and raised in Marshalltown, Iowa. She served God and her Lord and Savior, Jesus, at a few different churches in the span of her life. JoAnn married Don Stephenson, and they resided in Cedar Rapids to raise their family. She was an apartment complex manager for most of her life. JoAnn’s hobbies included cooking, preparing a huge Italian meal, watching her favorite movies and TV shows, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. Her wonderful grace, love, beauty, and charm will be missed by all who knew her.
