Ronald Lee Herman
Ronald Lee Herman, 59, passed away March 23, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Ron is survived by his children, Shane (Kristin) Herman, Tanya Herman, Ron (Rosie) Meyers, Cilas Griffin, Andrew Herman, and Kyndall Fuller- McBride; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; parents, Marvin and Sharon Herman; sister, Cindy (Mark) Jensen; many cousins, nieces and nephews; special friend, Denise Perkins and life long friend, Eric Gaster. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Genevieve Trimble, Vesta Herman, Lyle and Vivian Herman.
Ron loved working with the elderly. He worked at Keystone in Cedar Rapids for 12 years; he and the activity director would take residents fishing. Ron collected sports cards, enjoyed music, watching sports and was an avid Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed time with his two cats.
Ron’s family would like to thank Tammy, Becky and the rest of the UnityPoint Hospice team along with Living Center West for the care they provided Ron.
